Ric Featherstone

Ric Featherstone, MIEAust CPEng NER RPEQ, is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in materials handling and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Director and Associate Director - Mechanical at AECOM since January 2019, Ric has previously held key positions at Imperial Oil as an Ore Preparation Plant Machinery Specialist, and as Director and Principal Materials Handling Consultant at Tractare Consulting Limited. Ric’s expertise includes leading complex engineering projects in the oil sands and mining sectors, notably overseeing major materials handling systems and ensuring compliance with design standards. A Bachelor of Mechanical & Space Engineering was obtained from The University of Queensland, complemented by substantial experience in various engineering roles since 2001, including leadership positions at Rio Tinto and QER.
