Richard Karpinski, CHST, ENV SP, is a Six Sigma and OSHA certified professional with extensive experience in environmental assessment, health and safety, construction, and engineering consulting across various sectors. Currently serving as the EHS NY Metro Lead at AECOM, Karpinski manages multiple environmental programs for clients including MTA, Amtrak, and Verizon. Previously, Karpinski directed environmental compliance efforts at the $10.8 billion East Side Access project and managed the BP Deep Water Horizon spill response. With a focus on business development, Karpinski has successfully led numerous projects while fostering client relationships and mentoring teams. They are pursuing further education at Rutgers University and hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Stockton University.
