Rob Rivers

Rob Rivers, CCM, is an experienced water utility executive with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President and Project Lead for the Columbus Water Capital Program at AECOM since January 2011, Rivers manages a substantial $600 million capital program for the City of Columbus, encompassing reservoir, water lines, pump stations, and treatment plant upgrades. Previously, Rivers held the same title at URS Corporation, contributing to similar capital improvement efforts for Columbus. Notable past roles include Special Assistant to the Mayor of Atlanta, where responsibilities included advising on major aviation and watershed capital programs, and Director of Public Works and Utilities for Hall County, Georgia, where management of comprehensive capital projects was key. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
