Robert Gibbon is currently the Vice President of Government Relations for NY Metro at AECOM, a role they have held since 2025. Previously, Robert served as Assistant Commissioner for Government and Community Relations at the NYS Department of Transportation from 2023 to 2025 and as Special Counselor to the Executive Director at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey from 2019 to 2023. They have also held positions as Senior Counsel for the New York State Senate and at the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, as well as roles in private practice. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Albany and a law degree from Albany Law School.
