Robert Johansen

Robert Johansen is an experienced professional in the fields of ports and marine planning, currently serving as the Director of Ports and Marine for the Western Division at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Previously, Johansen held the role of Associate Vice President at AECOM, where they led extensive projects in maritime planning and design, including the Durban Dig Out Port in South Africa. They co-founded JWD Group, a renowned marine planning firm, where Johansen served as a Partner and Vice President until its acquisition by AECOM in 2004. Their career in the maritime industry began at PACECO, and they also managed facilities engineering at American President Lines. Johansen earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
