Robert Spencer is a seasoned sustainability professional with nearly three decades of experience, currently serving as the Global Lead for Strategic Sustainability Advisory at AECOM. Robert previously held key roles such as Programme Coordinator for NISP South East at Scott Wilson, where they significantly diverted landfill waste and generated considerable value for members. Additionally, Robert has contributed to various boards and committees, including the Vice Chair of the Sustainable Development Committee at FIDIC and the Founding Chairman of the Major Infrastructure – Resources Optimisation Group. An alumnus of the University of Oxford with an MSc in Land Use & Forestry, Robert is dedicated to integrating sustainable practices into infrastructure and advising clients on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.
