Ryan Brumfield is currently the Director of the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Program Support at the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Previously, Ryan served as the Director of NCDOT’s Integrated Mobility Division and was the Senior Transportation Advisor for the Appalachian Regional Commission. Prior experience includes roles at the Federal Highway Administration as the Program Manager for the USDOT TIGER Discretionary Grant Program and various engineering internships at Parsons Brinckerhoff, the Federal Aviation Administration, and Kubilins Transportation Group. Ryan holds both a Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a registered professional engineer.
