Sarah Carson

Sarah Carson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and international procurement. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for AECOM, Sarah navigates complex regulatory frameworks including FAR and ITAR while providing legal counsel on international procurements. Prior to AECOM, Sarah was a Partner at Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP, where expertise was applied in transactional guidance, litigation strategy, and regulatory support for clients engaged with government entities. Sarah began legal career as an Associate at the same firm, successfully defending clients in high-stakes litigation and offering compliance training. Experience also includes working as a Law Clerk at Arnold & Porter, supporting litigation and legislative efforts in technology and government contracts. Sarah holds a JD from The Catholic University of America and a BA from Emory University.
