Sean Loofbourrow

Sean Loofbourrow, CSP, ARM, is an experienced EHS and risk management professional currently serving as the Safety, Health & Environment Senior Manager at AECOM, where they develop and implement safety and security policies for the California High-Speed Rail program. With a robust background in government and the transportation industry, Loofbourrow has held notable roles in the US Navy, including Director of Aviation Operations and Safety Director aboard the USS Carl Vinson. They have previously led safety initiatives at the North County Transit District and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, coordinating safety programs across multiple agencies. Loofbourrow is pursuing multiple degrees, including a Master's in Operations Management and Supervision from the University of Arkansas, while also holding an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Biology.
