Simon Murphy

Simon Murphy is a Technical Director and Group Manager in Environment & Community with extensive expertise in environmental planning and impact assessment, accumulated over 18 years. They earned a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Newcastle and subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Urban & Regional Planning. While pursuing their Master's in Social Science (Environmental Management) at RMIT University, Simon gained practical experience at a Town Planning consultancy in NSW. Currently at GHD, they manage diverse projects for public and private sector clients, drawing on their comprehensive background, including time at AECOM where they were involved in significant environmental approvals.
