Stephen Agar

Stephen Agar is a Technical Director and Bridge Engineer at AECOM, specializing in post-tensioned concrete and efficient bridge construction techniques. They possess expertise in structural analysis, bridge design, finite element modeling, and bridge rehabilitation, and are an accredited senior bridge inspector in Southern Africa. Stephen earned a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University, where they also completed a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Previously, they held positions as an Associate Bridge Engineer at HHO Africa Infrastructure Engineers and as a Bridge Engineer at SMEC, among other engineering roles.
