Stephen Carter

Stephen Carter is a Chartered Ecologist and Associate Director (Ecology) at AECOM with over 30 years of consultancy experience in managing ecological survey and assessment work for infrastructure projects, including renewable energy, in the UK and abroad. They have held previous positions as a Senior Ecologist at Arup, where they co-managed ecological work for HS2 projects and contributed to numerous successful environmental assessments. Carter holds a Bachelor's degree in Ecology from Lancaster University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Environmental Practice from Farnborough College of Technology, and a Master's degree in Environmental Management from the University of Surrey.
