Steve Leach

Steve Leach is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in environmental planning and project management. Currently serving as Vice President and Senior Project Manager at AECOM since July 1992, Steve manages the Environmental Planning and Permitting Department in the Oakland, California office, overseeing large infrastructure projects such as dams, airports, pipelines, roads, and power initiatives. Prior to this role, Steve was a Graduate Student at UC Davis from 1990 to 1992 and worked as a Vegetation Ecologist for the National Park Service in early 1990, where responsibilities included collecting baseline vegetation data to assess the impacts of wildfires. Steve holds a Master of Arts in Vegetation Ecology from the University of California, Davis.
