Sujeet Chandra

Sujeet Chandra is an experienced Design Programme Manager at AECOM, focusing on the South Rail Systems Alliance and previously served as Project Lead for the South West from August 2017 to present. Prior experience includes a role at Atkins as Route Manager for the Network Rail Great Western Route Modernisation Programme, overseeing the design delivery of a multi-million-pound electrified rail route project, and managing the Airbus A400M Phase 3 Certification Programme. Additional responsibilities encompassed project management for various Airbus certification programmes, including the A380 and A350XWB. Early career experience includes positions as a Stress Engineer at GE, producing engineering calculations for aircraft engines, and as a Scientist/Engineer at ISRO, coordinating gyro development for space vehicles. Sujeet Chandra holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bath and a Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
