Thomas Carr is a seasoned cultural resource management professional with extensive experience in archaeology. Currently serving as the Cultural Resource Program Manager and Senior Archaeologist at AECOM since August 2021, Thomas previously held positions as a Staff Archaeologist at Pinyon Environmental, Inc. and History Colorado, where contributions included project management and archaeological expertise. As the Owner and Principal of Colorado Cultural Research Associates, LLC, Thomas conducted archaeological surveys, site monitoring, and preservation planning for over five years. Early career experience includes roles as a Graduate Part Time Instructor and Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, and as a Project Archaeologist at Hemisphere Field Services, Inc. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the University of Colorado Boulder, respectively.
