Thomas Volek

Thomas (Tom) Volek, PE, currently serves as the Chemical and Process Manager at AECOM, where Thomas (Tom) has been since November 2017, and previously held the position of Manager, Facilities Engineering for Oil & Gas. Prior to this, Volek worked at URS Corporation, SNC-Lavalin, and Oxy, where Thomas (Tom) was Plant Manager for a specialty chemical operation overseeing significant budgets and employee teams. Volek also held various leadership roles at INDSPEC Chemical Corporation, focusing on technology, technical service, and safety management. With earlier experience as a Plant Manager at Koppers Company and a Process Engineer at PPG Industries, Volek holds multiple degrees in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Pittsburgh.
