Tom Fini

Tom Fini, P.E., PMP, CDT, LEED GA, is a Process-Mechanical Section Manager at AECOM, focusing on sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure design and optimization. With a history as a Water/Wastewater Engineer at HDR, Tom specialized in pump station design and system resilience, delivering projects that achieve high-tier LEED or Envision certification. Tom earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they also conducted research on antibiotic-resistant genes in wastewater treatment plants. Passionate about advancing sustainable water solutions, Tom is both PMP-certified and committed to integrating innovative engineering practices.
