Tony Batten MRTPI

Tony Batten MRTPI, MCIP, is an Associate Director (Planning Consents) in the Environment & Energy sector at AECOM, bringing over twenty years of professional experience from both the U.K. and Canada. As a Chartered Town Planner and Project Manager, Tony has overseen numerous infrastructure, retail, and residential development projects, including HS2 Birmingham Interchange and various regeneration strategies. Previously, Tony held senior roles at organizations such as CitySpaces Consulting, URS Corporation, and H.Y. Engineering, where they contributed to urban regeneration and community planning initiatives. Tony earned multiple degrees in Urban Regeneration, Geography, and Urban Design from institutions including the University of Westminster and Keele University.
