Tony Passaretti

Tony Passaretti is an experienced professional in signals and train control, currently serving as Manager at AECOM since April 2011, leading projects such as the Amtrak-Gateway Hudson Tunnels. Responsibilities include overseeing the design and implementation of interlockings and hardware/software systems. Prior to this role, Tony Passaretti worked as a Senior Engineer at Metro North Railroad, focusing on PTC installation and upgrades. Tony's earlier experience includes significant contributions at Long Island Rail Road, where leadership in signal circuit design and engineering led to the largest signal cut-over in the company's history. Tony Passaretti holds an AAS in Electrical Engineering from Farmingdale State College and has a strong foundation in signal design, inspection, and electronic systems.
