Wael Amer is an experienced civil engineering professional currently serving as Associate Director and Senior Construction Manager at AECOM since September 2014. In this role, Wael has been responsible for the design review and construction supervision of the New Orbital Highway and Truck Route project in Qatar, a significant infrastructure development consisting of a 195 km freeway and multiple interchanges. Prior to AECOM, Wael held the position of Senior Resident Engineer at KEO International Consultants, overseeing construction management aspects. Wael's career includes roles as Assistant Resident Engineer for the Greater Cairo Wastewater Project with CH2M HILL and Site Engineer with the Cairo Wastewater Consortium, among others.
