William Miles

William Miles is an accomplished professional in environmental planning and management with extensive experience in the energy transition sector. Currently serving as the Energy Transition Lead and Transgrid Client Account Manager at AECOM since October 2015, William has held multiple leadership roles, including ANZ Environment Power Market Sector Lead and Technical Director. Prior to AECOM, William worked at URS Australia Pty Ltd from November 2005 to September 2015, where roles included Principal Environmental Planner and Manager of NSW Planning and EIA. William also gained experience at Land Use Consultants and Terence O'Rourke Ltd as an Environmental Planner and Ecologist, respectively. William earned an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter.
