Xavier Carah is a Principal Heritage Specialist at AECOM, where they provide technical advice and collaborate with stakeholders to manage and conserve cultural heritage. Xavier's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Archaeology, focusing on fuel wood selection strategies in Kakadu National Park, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and an Honours Thesis from The University of Queensland. Prior to their current role, Xavier worked as a Heritage Consultant and Senior Heritage Consultant at Niche Environment and Heritage, and gained foundational experience as a Graduate Archaeologist at Converge Heritage and Community.
