Yasser Helal

Yasser Helal is a Principal Structural Engineer at AECOM, where they apply their extensive expertise in various sectors, including industrial, sports, education, commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. They earned a PhD in Earthquake Engineering and Dynamics and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, both from The University of Sheffield. Prior to their current role, Yasser has held positions as a Structural Engineer at several firms, including a Senior Structural Engineer at Civic Engineers and Jacobs, as well as experience at Ramboll and Sinclair Knight Merz. Their early career began at Damascus University, where they worked as a Structural Engineer.
