Andrew Howard, P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in system safety and security within the rail industry. Currently serving as the Director of System Safety and Security at Aecon Group Inc. since March 2024, Andrew previously held roles at Parsons Corporation from September 2016 to March 2024, including Technical Director for RAMS and Security Canada and Engineering Manager for RAMS. Andrew's responsibilities involved managing teams, overseeing projects, contributing to rail safety publications, and serving as Safety Lead. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior RAMS Engineer and RAMS Engineer at Bombardier Transportation, where Andrew focused on preparing cost estimates and developing RAM and safety plans. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Queen's University.
