Brian Au

Brian Au is a seasoned Tunnel Ventilation System Project Manager with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Aecon Group Inc. since September 2021. Prior to this role, Brian held a similar position at Crosslinx Transit Solutions from November 2019 to September 2021. Brian's career spans over a decade with SNC-Lavalin where responsibilities included managing the testing and commissioning of tunnel ventilation systems for significant infrastructure projects such as the Ottawa Confederation Line and the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. Brian also contributed to the Calgary West LRT Project as Tunnel Ventilation Design Lead, focusing on system optimization through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis and fire safety compliance. Brian began in the mechanical engineering field through cooperative positions at various companies including QuestAir Technologies, Extreme CCTV, and Creo, following a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
