Dan Cavanagh

Dan Cavanagh is a seasoned professional in the nuclear industry with extensive experience in engineering services and construction management. Currently serving as Shift Construction Lead at Aecon Group Inc. since September 2019, Cavanagh oversees critical path activities for the Darlington RFR Project. As Chief Nuclear Technologist and Director of Operations at G|B Field Services Inc. since June 2016, Cavanagh specializes in engineering and construction management. Previous roles include Senior Electro-Mechanical Technologist at ATS Automation, where responsibilities encompassed leading tooling design for significant reactor refurbishment projects, and various supervisory positions at Candu Energy Inc. and AECL, focusing on overseeing critical path activities and ensuring quality compliance. Cavanagh holds a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering & Robotics Technologist from Sir Sandford Fleming College.
