Daniel Doherty has extensive work experience in the construction and architecture industry. Daniel is currently working as the Director of Integrated Digital Delivery - Industrial at Aecon Group Inc. since 2023. Prior to that, they held managerial roles at PCL Construction, where they were the Manager, Integrated Construction Technology from 2018 to 2023. Daniel also served as the Manager of Operational Support and VC Manager at PCL Construction from 2020 to 2022 and from 2018 to 2020, respectively. Before joining Aecon and PCL, they worked as the Director at Building Transformations from 2020 to 2023. Daniel also worked at Clark Builders as the Manager of Virtual Construction from 2014 to 2018 and as a BIM Technical Specialist from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they have experience as an Architectural Technologist at Brinsmead Kennedy Architecture from 2006 to 2011 and Kasian Architecture from 2008 to 2009.
Daniel Doherty completed their Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 2009 to 2013. In 2015, they obtained a Certification of Management in BIM (Building Information Modelling) from the Associated General Contractors of America. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, Daniel pursued an Architectural Technology Diploma also at NAIT. In 2018 to 2019, they received a Certificate of Management - Lean Construction from the Associated General Contractors of America, specializing in Lean Construction.
