Jaime Castro is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in bridge engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Bridge Lead Construction Engineer/Construction Manager at Aecon Group Inc. since July 2019, Jaime oversees the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project. Prior roles include Senior Bridge Construction Engineer and Construction Manager at STRABAG, where Jaime managed bid preparations and the Mtentu River Bridge Project. With a career spanning back to 1986, Jaime has held various managerial and engineering positions at leading construction firms, including HOCHTIEF, Ceresola TLS AG, and Bilfinger Berger AG, contributing to significant projects such as the Bank Bloomberg Place and Taiwan High Speed Railway. Jaime holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad EAFIT.
