Umar Abdullah

Umar Abdullah is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Traffic & Transit Lead at Aecon Group, where they oversee traffic control supervision for major projects. Umar previously held leadership positions with the Ryerson Students' Union, including Vice President Education, and served as Faculty Director, cultivating their team leadership skills. They led a capstone engineering project with Niagara Region focused on intersection design and feasibility studies. In addition to their engineering background, Umar is also the Sales Manager at GT-Grand Touring Automotive, showcasing their diverse skill set in both traffic management and sales. Umar holds a Bachelor's degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University.
