Val Deline

Val Deline, CHRP, has over nine years of diverse experience in human resources, most notably serving as Director of HR at Aecon Group Inc. since January 2015. Val has led HR initiatives supporting approximately 350 employees across multiple provinces and has a strong background in strategic HR business partnering with various teams, including finance and corporate affairs. Val has co-led HR engagement initiatives, developed AODA resources, and supported full-cycle recruitment and employee relations efforts. Prior experience includes HR roles at PCL Construction and Ann Taylor, alongside teaching positions with the JET Programme and as a teaching assistant at McMaster University. Val holds a postgraduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University.
