AECOpen is an emerging industry initiative exploring the information infrastructure needed to support the future of the built environment.

As expectations around interoperability, AI, analytics, and lifecycle information continue to evolve, organizations across the industry are encountering similar challenges related to fragmentation, governance, and information continuity.

AECOpen exists to listen, learn, and help facilitate conversations around the foundations needed for information to move more effectively across systems, phases, and stakeholders.

The goal is not to prescribe solutions, but to better understand where common challenges and opportunities exist and what shared infrastructure may be required to address them.
