Dylan O'Brien

Dylan O'Brien has a strong background in architecture and design, with over 20 years of experience. Dylan started their career as a Student of Architecture/Architectural Assistant at Paul Owen Architect in 2001 before moving on to BVN Architecture as a Student of Architecture/Architectural Assistant in 2003. In 2004, they joined Owen and Vokes Pty Ltd as a Graduate of Architecture. O'Brien then worked at Woods Bagot as a Senior Architectural Designer (Registered Architect Qld Australia) from 2007 to 2011. Dylan continued their career at Benoy as a Senior Architect from 2011 to 2015, and then joined Woods Bagot again as RAIA RIBA from May to August 2015. O'Brien's next position was as a Senior Architect at Inarc Design Asia from September 2015 to December 2016. Dylan then joined Aedas as a Senior Architect, later transitioning to roles as an Associate, Senior Associate, and currently serving as an Associate Director since January 2020. O'Brien has demonstrated significant growth and expertise throughout their various roles in the field of architecture.

Dylan O'Brien's education history includes attending several institutions and pursuing various fields of study. Dylan started their educational journey in 1989 at Noosa District State High School and completed their studies there in 1993. Following this, they enrolled at Queensland College of Art - Griffith University in 1995 and completed their first year of Bachelor of Photography. In 1999, they returned to Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and studied Architecture Studies, earning a BBE degree by 2001. Dylan continued their studies in the field of Architecture at QUT from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors (B Arch hons). In 2003 and 2004, they also attended L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Grenoble to further their studies in Architecture, though they did not complete a degree at this institution.
