Luiz Ribas

Luiz Ribas completed a doctorate in Law and a junior postdoctorate in Sociology at UERJ in 2018. With expertise in social sciences research, Luiz has worked on projects that involve data collection, analysis, and in-depth interviews, including a notable study on democratic governance in Latin America. Currently, Luiz serves as a technical advisor at AEDAS and is engaged in research on activism in Brazil at IESP-UERJ. Previously, Luiz held various teaching roles at institutions such as UNICURITIBA and UFRJ and coordinated the Institute of Research, Rights, and Social Movements from 2016 to 2018.
