Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Müller began their academic career after studying mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. They completed their doctorate at RWTH Aachen before working at Robert Bosch GmbH and Behr GmbH. Since 2007, Dirk has been a professor at RWTH Aachen and leads the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at the E.ON Energy Research Center. Currently, they serve as the director of the Institute for Energy and Climate Research, Energiesystemtechnik at Forschungszentrum Jülich and hold various roles in other organizations, including being a shareholder at multiple companies.
