Allan Smith

Allan Smith is the Head of Financial Controls Assurance at Aegon since September 2014, leading the development and implementation of financial controls and risk management across the UK Group. Previously, Allan held senior management roles within the Investment Administration function, ensuring operational excellence in cash reconciliations and compliance with CASS regulations. Prior experience includes positions at Deloitte UK as a Finance Risk Manager and Audit Associate, as well as roles at AXA and The Co-operative Banking Group, where Allan focused on financial planning and advisory services. Allan holds a Master's degree in Business/Commerce from The University of Edinburgh and is a qualified ACCA professional.
