Atif Malik

Atif Malik has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and infrastructure industry. Atif began their career in 1993 as an Operations Manager at SAIC, where they automated UNIX systems and performed database backups and restorations. In 1996, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Senior System Engineer, supporting a large number of HP-UX systems for the Wal-Mart account. At Forsythe Solutions, where they worked from 1998 to 2011, they served as the Chief Architect, managing and developing methodologies for assessing and architecting complex infrastructures. At Align, they held the position of Director from 2011 to 2012 before moving to SunGard Availability Services. At SunGard, they served as the Consulting Director for Data Center Infrastructure Optimization, providing expertise in data center relocation, storage optimization, enterprise applications, and recovery strategies. Atif then joined KPMG US in 2014 as a Director, and in 2023, they became the Global Head of Infrastructure at Aegon. At each position, Atif has demonstrated their expertise in infrastructure management and optimization, driving cost-effective solutions for their clients.

Atif Malik has an educational background in both engineering and finance. Atif obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Atif later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from Regis University. In addition to their formal education, Atif has also obtained certifications in various subjects such as data visualization, improving focus, communication, and data analytics. Atif also has a certification in ITIL v3, although the institution and exact year of obtaining it are unknown.
