Derren Urwin

Derren Urwin is an experienced professional in regulatory relations and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Relations at Aegon UK since November 2010. Prior to this role, Derren held the position of Non Executive Director at STONEBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE LTD. from January 2017 to January 2021, overseeing a PRA & FCA regulated General Insurance company. Derren also worked as a Senior Regulatory Risk Manager at Tesco Bank from August 2009 to November 2010, where responsibilities included managing the relationship with the FSA and addressing regulatory developments. Derren's early career includes a significant tenure at Clydesdale Bank from 1987 to 2009 as Head of Monitoring. Derren holds the MCIBS degree from the Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
