Laszlo Matyas

Laszlo Matyas currently serves as the Head of Financial Risk Management for Aegon International, leading an international team across seven countries and focusing on governance, sustainability risk, and global fixed income. Previously, Laszlo acted as Interim Executive Officer at Aegon Asset Management, overseeing operational management of a 40-member unit. Prior experience includes heading Financial Risk Management for Aegon South-Eastern Europe and leading finance projects at AIG, where responsibilities included people management and project delivery across Europe. Laszlo's career also features roles at Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Gaz de France, and Blackbox Analytics. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master of Arts from Eötvös Loránd University, and degrees in Economics with Finance from Budapest Business School and in Business Systems with English from the University of Bedfordshire.
