Maarten Mes

Maarten Mes is a hands-on and result-driven professional with extensive experience in financial management, including corporate finance, treasury, and investment management. They served as Vice President of Investment Finance at MeesPierson Inc. and Director of Corporate Finance at Achmea, where they raised over EUR 15 billion in capital market funding. Currently, Maarten is the Vice President of Corporate Development/M&A at Aegon. They hold multiple degrees, including an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and a Master's in Mining and Petroleum Technologies from Technische Universiteit Delft, both earned with honors.
