Malcolm Reid

Malcolm Reid is an experienced financial controls and risk management professional currently serving as the Financial Controls Director at Aegon since July 2021, with responsibilities as the CASS Oversight Officer and for the Aegon UK Sarbanes Oxley program. Prior to this role, Malcolm held various positions at Aegon UK from November 2012 to July 2021, including Risk Assurance Director and Head of Finance & IT Risk. Additionally, Malcolm served as a Non Executive Director on the Tenet Group Board, where also chaired the Board Risk Committee from November 2022 to June 2024. Earlier experience includes the role of Chief Risk Officer at Stonebridge International Insurance Ltd., along with senior positions at Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS. Educational qualifications include a degree from Heriot-Watt University, complemented by attendance at Firrrhill High School.
