Attilio Pigneri

Attilio Pigneri is the Founder and CEO of H2U - the Hydrogen Utility®, a leading developer of hydrogen infrastructure and renewable energy storage based in Australia, where strategic partnerships span Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific. Currently serving on the Expert Advisory Panel for the Australian Energy Market Operator since August 2017, Attilio contributes to the implementation of key energy initiatives. With extensive experience in hydrogen energy, Pigneri has been a member of the International Advisory Board for the International Association for Hydrogen Energy and previously held the presidential position at the Australian Association for Hydrogen Energy. Additional roles include Director at Talent with Energy Pty Ltd, where innovative project management for sustainable energy technologies is a focus, and previous technical direction and executive committee membership in notable organizations. Pigneri holds a PhD in Energy Systems and Environment from the University of California, Davis, and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy from Politecnico di Milano.
