Ben Blake

Ben Blake has over two decades of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Congestion & Grid Modelling at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since October 2007. Prior roles at AEMO include Manager of Grid Modelling, Manager of Congestion Modelling, and Manager of Electricity Constraints. Prior to joining AEMO, Ben Blake worked at NEMMCO from November 1999 to September 2007 in various engineering roles, including System Operations, Planning & Performance Engineer, and Power System Operations Support Engineer. Ben Blake holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UNSW (1994-1998) and completed a Leadership Development Program at the Melbourne Business School in 2017.
