Craig Thomas currently serves as a Program Architect for Cyber at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since November 2023. Prior to this role, Craig held various positions at the NSW Police Force from March 2003 to November 2023, culminating in the role of Acting Chief Information Security Officer. In this capacity, Craig was responsible for the development and implementation of ICT security best practices and ensured compliance for secure systems. Additional roles included Manager of the Cyber Security Operations Centre and Team Leader for Identity Manager Cyber Security. Craig holds a Graduate Certificate in Information Security Systems from Charles Sturt University and completed coursework at the University of Technology Sydney in 2006.
