Dan Arber

Dan Arber is a highly experienced analyst with a strong background in energy and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst for Reliability Forecasting at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since September 2022, Dan's previous roles include Senior Research Analyst in Carbon and Energy Policy at RepuTex Energy and Senior Strategy and Insights Consultant at RACV. Dan has contributed to significant projects in carbon policy, including developing a methodology for economy-wide carbon emissions modeling while working as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. With extensive analytical experience at EnergyAustralia, including roles as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst and Environmental Reporting Analyst, and a history of consulting in both public policy and financial services, Dan's educational foundation includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and a BSc/BA from the University of Melbourne.
