Darryl White

Darryl White is an experienced professional in gas and energy markets, currently serving as a Specialist in Gas Markets and Business Strategy at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since April 2013. In this role, Darryl has led the Gas Supply Hub implementation program, provided expertise and analysis on AEMO-operated markets, and managed market rule changes and development projects. Prior to AEMO, Darryl held positions including Manager of Trading Markets at Epic Energy, where operational oversight and compliance with trading market obligations were key responsibilities, and held leadership roles at AGL Energy, including Gas Lead for the Carbon Project and Manager of Gas Portfolio Management. Darryl started a career in the energy sector at EnergyAustralia as Senior Gas Operations Coordinator and Physical Markets Trader. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from the University of South Australia and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Australian Institute of Management.
