Ehsan Farahani

Ehsan Farahani, Ph.D., serves as a Principal Engineer in the Operational Analysis and Engineering Team at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since June 2018. With a robust background in power systems engineering, Ehsan has previously held roles at Senvion Australia Pty Ltd as a Grid Connection Engineer and at AEMO as a Power System Engineer. An extensive career includes consulting positions at GHD, Messinan, and Moshanir Engineering Consultant, focusing on electrical engineering duties like power system analysis, distribution system design, and project management. Ehsan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Power Systems from Swinburne University of Technology and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
