Eleanor Whyte

Eleanor Whyte has significant legal expertise, currently serving as Principal Corporate Lawyer at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since February 2013. In addition to this role, Eleanor has held the positions of Acting Group Manager Legal and Compliance and Manager, Procurement and Vendor Management at AEMO. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Associate and Lawyer at Lander & Rogers from May 2003 to February 2013, as well as working as a Lawyer at Norton Gledhill and Brian Ward & Partners. Eleanor began the legal career as an articled clerk at Brian Ward & Partners in July 1998. Eleanor holds an Arts (Hons)/Law degree from Monash University, completed in 1997, with studies in History and Spanish.
