Jade A. currently holds the position of Information Security, Risk & Assurance at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since July 2025. Prior to this, Jade served as GM Data & AI at Ventia from August 2023 to July 2025, focusing on facilities management and asset maintenance across a diverse range of projects. Jade's experience also includes a leadership role as Director at the Department of Regional NSW, overseeing a Strategic Intelligence team dedicated to data-informed policy making from January 2022 to August 2023. Jade spent several years at KPMG Australia as a Director, leading consulting projects that enabled organizations to make data-driven decisions across various sectors and managing complex analytics and data science initiatives. Earlier career experiences include roles such as ANBF Beamline Scientist at the Photon Factory and ARC Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney, as well as Deputy Field Manager at Woolcott Research. Jade holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Sydney, along with qualifications in law and project management.
