Luke Stevens has over a decade of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Principal Analyst in Reform Delivery at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since June 2012. In this role, Luke acts as a subject matter expert for the Short Term Trading Market and the Victorian Declared Wholesale Gas Market, supporting the gas transmission system operations. Prior to AEMO, Luke worked as a Senior Analyst at the Australian Energy Regulator, contributing to key regulatory determinations related to the National Electricity Market. Additionally, a tenure at the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets in the UK involved developing initial offshore transmission licensing. Luke began a career in economic policy as a Senior Analyst focused on the labour market with the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree with honours in Economics from La Trobe University.
