Michael Probert

Michael Probert has extensive experience in strategy development and project management, particularly in the fields of environmental policy and clean energy. Notable roles include Strategy and Project Manager at NSW Fair Trading, where Michael led the $270 million environmental remediation program, and Policy Principal for the Hydrogen and Clean Energy Branch at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, responsible for the $3 billion NSW Hydrogen Strategy. Michael's legal background includes work as a Solicitor specializing in criminal law and as a Legal Officer at the Australian Taxation Office. Academically, Michael holds a Master's in International Law and Security from UNSW, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Commerce and Law, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia. Currently, Michael serves as a Strategy Analyst at the Australian Energy Market Operator and previously held a role as Associate Director at Deloitte.
